Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Suburb of Paris by Zhou Bichu was auctioned at Christies in Taipei in April 2001. The price achieved of TWD 470,000.00 (€ 16,048.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as TWD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Bichu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion in April this year with an auction result of HKD 744,000.00 (€ 759,769.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Suburb of Paris von Zhou Bichu kam im April 2001 bei Christies in Taipeh zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von TWD 470.000,00 (€ 16.048,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit TWD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Bichu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 744.000,00 (€ 759.769,57).
