Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plum Blossoms by Zheng Naiguang was auctioned at China Guardian in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 4,613.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Naiguang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Lotus in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 552,000.00 (€ 54,952.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plum Blossoms von Zheng Naiguang kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 4.613,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Naiguang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red Lotus im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 552.000,00 (€ 54.952,92).
