The work Returning from Sailing by Zheng Naiguang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 8,747.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Admittedly, works by Zheng Naiguang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Lotus in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 552,000.00 (€ 54,952.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 63 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Returning from Sailing von Zheng Naiguang kam im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 8.747,79) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zheng Naiguang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Lotus im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 552.000,00 (€ 54.952,92).
