The work Delivering Good News by Zheng Naiguang was worth HKD 175,000.00 (€ 18,841.40) to a buyer in November 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zheng Naiguang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Lotus, which sold at auction in October 2012 for HKD 552,000.00 (€ 54,952.92).

Die Arbeit Delivering Good News von Zheng Naiguang war einem Käufer im November 2017 HKD 175.000,00 (€ 18.841,40) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Zheng Naiguang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Lotus beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für HKD 552.000,00 (€ 54.952,92) versteigert wurde.
