Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Buddha by Zheng Mukang. The price achieved of HKD 70,800.00 (€ 7,289.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Mukang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beauty in April this year with an auction result of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 104,161.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Buddha von Zheng Mukang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 70.800,00 (€ 7.289,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Mukang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beauty im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 104.161,96).
