Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Lady by Zheng Mukang. The price achieved of HKD 44,100.00 (€ 5,076.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 55,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Mukang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beauty in April this year with an auction result of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 104,161.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lady von Zheng Mukang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 44.100,00 (€ 5.076,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 35.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Mukang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beauty im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 104.161,96).
