Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Scholar Under Tung Tree by Zheng Mukang was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 126,000.00 (€ 13,955.53). Admittedly, works by Zheng Mukang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Beauty in April this year with an auction result of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 104,161.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Scholar Under Tung Tree von Zheng Mukang wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 126.000,00 (€ 13.955,53) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zheng Mukang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Beauty im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 104.161,96).
