A top price for Zheng Mukang - as previously expected
In April this year China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Beauty by Zheng Mukang. The price achieved of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 104,161.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Beauty is the most expensive artwork by Zheng Mukang that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April diesen Jahres führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beauty von Zheng Mukang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 104.161,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Beauty das teuerste Kunstwerk von Zheng Mukang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
