Sold at the upper estimate price
In October last year China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Scholar With Ladies by Zheng Mukang. The auction ended at the price of HKD 12,000.00 (€ 1,537.75), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 6,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Mukang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beauty in April this year with an auction result of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 104,161.96).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scholar With Ladies von Zheng Mukang zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 12.000,00 (€ 1.537,75) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 6.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Mukang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beauty im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 104.161,96).
