Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lady in a Garden by Zheng Mukang was sold in the Asian Art auction at Bonhams in London in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 2,550.00 (€ 2,954.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Mukang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beauty in April this year with an auction result of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 104,161.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lady in a Garden von Zheng Mukang wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Asian Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.550,00 (€ 2.954,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Mukang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beauty im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 104.161,96).
