In October 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Fishing By The Willows by Zheng Mukang. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,429.29), 41% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Mukang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beauty in April this year with an auction result of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 104,161.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 41 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishing By The Willows von Zheng Mukang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.429,29) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Mukang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beauty im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 104.161,96).
