In October 2012 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work Beauties by Zheng Mukang. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 287,500.00 (€ 28,621.32), 44% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zheng Mukang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Beauty, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 102,000.00 (€ 104,161.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2012 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beauties von Zheng Mukang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 287.500,00 (€ 28.621,32) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Zheng Mukang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Beauty beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 102.000,00 (€ 104.161,96) versteigert wurde.
