The work Strolling to the Summer Hills by Zhao Zuo was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. The result of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 8,741.83) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 100,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Zuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in September 2012 with an auction result of USD 506,500.00 (€ 393,979.46).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Strolling to the Summer Hills von Zhao Zuo wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings & Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 8.741,83) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhao Zuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im September 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 506.500,00 (€ 393.979,46).
