Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy by Zhang Tingji was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 345,000.00 (€ 32,087.24), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Tingji - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Standard Script, which sold at auction in November 2015 for HKD 625,000.00 (€ 76,334.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Zhang Tingji kam im April 2014 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 345.000,00 (€ 32.087,24) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23%. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Tingji mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Standard Script beobachtet, die im November 2015 für HKD 625.000,00 (€ 76.334,97) versteigert wurde.
