Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu by Zhang Tingji was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,487.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Tingji achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Standard Script in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 76,334.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu von Zhang Tingji wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.487,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Tingji erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Standard Script im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 76.334,97).
