The work Lady With Osmanthus Flowers by Zhang Chong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2004. It achieved a price of HKD 77,675.00 (€ 5,041.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Chong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ink Peony in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 58,014.58).

Die Arbeit Lady With Osmanthus Flowers von Zhang Chong kam im April 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 77.675,00 (€ 5.041,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Chong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ink Peony im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 58.014,58).
