Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Grisebach held the auction Auktionen 207-214 - Kunst nach 1945, which included this untitled work by Zbigniew Makowski. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,050.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Zbigniew Makowski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,242.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2013 führte Grisebach die Auktion Auktionen 207-214 - Kunst nach 1945 durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zbigniew Makowski zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.050,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zbigniew Makowski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.242,90).
