In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Il Matrimonio Segreto sold for USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,343.02) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Zbigniew Makowski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,242.90).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Zbigniew Makowski erzielte im Januar 2009 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit Il Matrimonio Segreto für USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.343,02) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zbigniew Makowski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.242,90).
