Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paradise 7 by Zandile Tshabalala was auctioned at Phillips in London in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 12,065.00 (€ 14,041.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zandile Tshabalala - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paradise I, which sold at auction in December 2021 for GBP 23,940.00 (€ 28,555.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paradise 7 von Zandile Tshabalala kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.065,00 (€ 14.041,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zandile Tshabalala mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paradise I beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für GBP 23.940,00 (€ 28.555,40) versteigert wurde.
