Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Paradise IIIII by Zandile Tshabalala. The price achieved of USD 17,780.00 (€ 16,353.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Zandile Tshabalala have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2021 the work Paradise I was auctioned for GBP 23,940.00 (€ 28,555.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paradise IIIII von Zandile Tshabalala zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.780,00 (€ 16.353,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Zandile Tshabalala konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2021 die Arbeit Paradise I für GBP 23.940,00 (€ 28.555,40) versteigert.
