Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Saint-Tropez by Yvonne Canu was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October last year. It achieved a price of GBP 9,562.50 (€ 11,140.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Yvonne Canu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Crépuscule sur Paris in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 118,600.00 (€ 78,093.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Saint-Tropez von Yvonne Canu kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 9.562,50 (€ 11.140,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yvonne Canu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Crépuscule sur Paris im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.600,00 (€ 78.093,11).
