This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Yvonne Canu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Crépuscule sur Paris in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 118,600.00 (€ 78,093.11).
