Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View from a window by Yvan Theys was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2004. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,987.50 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yvan Theys - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Belgian l'Invitation - De Inwijding, which sold at auction in June 2010 for EUR 6,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit View from a window von Yvan Theys kam im Juni 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.987,50 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yvan Theys mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Belgian l'Invitation - De Inwijding beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für EUR 6.250,00 versteigert wurde.
