In October 2016 Christies in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Evening Auction, which included the work Umber-Blue by Yun Hyong-Keun. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 425,000.00 (€ 473,462.87), 42% above the upper estimate. Other works by Yun Hyong-Keun have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 4,600,000.00 (€ 531,674.90) in May 2016 for the work Umber-Blue 7-IIII-75.

Im Oktober 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Evening Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Umber-Blue von Yun Hyong-Keun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 425.000,00 (€ 473.462,87) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Yun Hyong-Keun haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.600.000,00 (€ 531.674,90) im Mai 2016 für die Arbeit Umber-Blue 7-IIII-75 beobachtet.
