This artwork by Yukimasa Ida achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in Hong Kong in November 2021. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction auction, the work A Head sold for HKD 756,000.00 (€ 84,059.54) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 420,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yukimasa Ida - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work King of Rock, which sold at auction in June 2021 for HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 301,111.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yukimasa Ida erzielte im November 2021 bei Phillips in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction wurde die Arbeit A Head für HKD 756.000,00 (€ 84.059,54) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 420.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yukimasa Ida mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit King of Rock beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 301.111,07) versteigert wurde.
