Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Asian Territories - 5.2 m? No.20090919 by Chen Yujun was sold in the Asian And Western 20th Century & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Shanghai in April 2015. The »bidding war« ended at CNY 350,000.00 (€ 50,546.50), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Chen Yujun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unstable Faith No. 20190312 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 336,000.00 (€ 343,121.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Asian Territories - 5.2 m? No.20090919 von Chen Yujun wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Asian And Western 20th Century & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Shanghai versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CNY 350.000,00 (€ 50.546,50) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Yujun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unstable Faith No. 20190312 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 336.000,00 (€ 343.121,74).
