Auction result well in line with expectations
The work TEMPORARY FAMILY – HALL NO.1 by Chen Yujun was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in September 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CNY 200,000.00 – 400,000.00, the actual price achieved of CNY 240,000.00 (€ 30,789.55) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Yujun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unstable Faith No. 20190312 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 336,000.00 (€ 343,121.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit TEMPORARY FAMILY – HALL NO.1 von Chen Yujun kam im September 2019 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CNY 200.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CNY 240.000,00 (€ 30.789,55) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Yujun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Unstable Faith No. 20190312 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 336.000,00 (€ 343.121,74).
