Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Under Forest by Yuichi Hirako. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 380,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 403,200.00 (€ 48,327.99). Admittedly, works by Yuichi Hirako have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bark 62 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 456,000.00 (€ 465,665.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Under Forest von Yuichi Hirako zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 380.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 403.200,00 (€ 48.327,99) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuichi Hirako auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bark 62 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 456.000,00 (€ 465.665,22).
