Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Forest Master II by Yuichi Hirako for HKD 40,320.00 (€ 4,875.94). This price was achieved in the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuichi Hirako achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bark 62 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 456,000.00 (€ 465,665.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Forest Master II von Yuichi Hirako für HKD 40.320,00 (€ 4.875,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuichi Hirako erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bark 62 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 456.000,00 (€ 465.665,22).
