Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lost in Thought 50 by Yuichi Hirako was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in November this year. The price achieved of HKD 508,000.00 (€ 59,611.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yuichi Hirako have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bark 62 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 456,000.00 (€ 465,665.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lost in Thought 50 von Yuichi Hirako kam im November diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 508.000,00 (€ 59.611,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuichi Hirako auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bark 62 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 456.000,00 (€ 465.665,22).
