A top price for Yuichi Hirako - as previously expected
The work Bark 62 by Yuichi Hirako was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 456,000.00 (€ 465,665.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 360,000.00 – 600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Bark 62 is the most expensive artwork by Yuichi Hirako that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Bark 62 von Yuichi Hirako wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 456.000,00 (€ 465.665,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 360.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Bark 62 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yuichi Hirako, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
