The work The End Of The End by Yuan Yuan was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,025,000.00 (€ 112,302.53), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Yuan Yuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blues V in April this year with an auction result of HKD 540,000.00 (€ 551,445.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit The End Of The End von Yuan Yuan wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 1.025.000,00 (€ 112.302,53) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuan Yuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blues V im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 551.445,65).
