Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Mirror of The Cross 1 by Yuan Yuan was sold in the 20th/21st Century Art Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in October last year. The price achieved of HKD 63,000.00 (€ 8,073.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Yuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blues V in April this year with an auction result of HKD 540,000.00 (€ 551,445.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Mirror of The Cross 1 von Yuan Yuan wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 63.000,00 (€ 8.073,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Yuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blues V im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 551.445,65).
