A top price for Yuan Yuan - as previously expected
The work Blues V by Yuan Yuan was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 540,000.00 (€ 551,445.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 450,000.00 – 700,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Blues V is the most expensive artwork by Yuan Yuan that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Blues V von Yuan Yuan wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 551.445,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 450.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Blues V das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yuan Yuan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
