Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Red Chamber by Yuan Yuan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 352,800.00 (€ 41,399.34) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Yuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blues V in April this year with an auction result of HKD 540,000.00 (€ 551,445.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Red Chamber von Yuan Yuan kam im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 352.800,00 (€ 41.399,34) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Yuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blues V im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 551.445,65).
