Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work 1001 by Yuan Yuan. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 1,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 1,071,000.00 (€ 114,667.33). Admittedly, works by Yuan Yuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blues V in April this year with an auction result of HKD 540,000.00 (€ 551,445.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit 1001 von Yuan Yuan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 1.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 1.071.000,00 (€ 114.667,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuan Yuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blues V im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 551.445,65).
