The work My Dining Room by Yuan Yuan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 937,500.00 (€ 98,885.94), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Yuan Yuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blues V in April this year with an auction result of HKD 540,000.00 (€ 551,445.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit My Dining Room von Yuan Yuan kam im Dezember 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 937.500,00 (€ 98.885,94) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuan Yuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blues V im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 551.445,65).
