Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bottles and Barrels by Yuan Yuan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The price achieved of HKD 239,400.00 (€ 28,688.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Yuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blues V in April this year with an auction result of HKD 540,000.00 (€ 551,445.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bottles and Barrels von Yuan Yuan kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 239.400,00 (€ 28.688,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Yuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blues V im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 540.000,00 (€ 551.445,65).
