Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work Blues by Yuan Yuan. The price achieved of HKD 1,250,000.00 (€ 142,286.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,000,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuan Yuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blues V, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 540,000.00 (€ 551,445.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blues von Yuan Yuan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.250.000,00 (€ 142.286,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.000.000,00 – 1.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuan Yuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blues V beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 540.000,00 (€ 551.445,65) versteigert wurde.
