In June 2019 Phillips in New York held the auction Artist | Icon | Inspiration: Women in Photography Presented with Peter Fetterman, which included the work Georgia O'Keeffe by Yousuf Karsh. The »bidding war« ended at USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,295.73), 56% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Yousuf Karsh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fifteen Portraits in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 37,970.84).

Im Juni 2019 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Artist | Icon | Inspiration: Women in Photography Presented with Peter Fetterman durch, in der auch die Arbeit Georgia O'Keeffe von Yousuf Karsh zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.295,73) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yousuf Karsh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fifteen Portraits im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 37.970,84).
