Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Crying by Ko Young-Hoon was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,200.00 (€ 23,492.07). Admittedly, works by Ko Young-Hoon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Stone Book in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 144,000.00 (€ 107,671.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Crying von Ko Young-Hoon kam im Februar 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 16.200,00 (€ 23.492,07) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ko Young-Hoon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Stone Book im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 144.000,00 (€ 107.671,60).
