Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Christies in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Art, which included the work Moon 2020 by Ko Young-Hoon. The price achieved of USD 100,800.00 (€ 92,715.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Ko Young-Hoon have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2007 the work Stone Book was auctioned for USD 144,000.00 (€ 107,671.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Japanese and Korean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Moon 2020 von Ko Young-Hoon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 100.800,00 (€ 92.715,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ko Young-Hoon konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2007 die Arbeit Stone Book für USD 144.000,00 (€ 107.671,60) versteigert.
