Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nara Yoshitomo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in July 2021. In the Contemporary Curated Milan auction, the work Marching on a Butterbur Leaf sold for EUR 2,394.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nara Yoshitomo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Knife Behind Back in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 195,969,000.00 (€ 22,398,966.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nara Yoshitomo erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated Milan wurde die Arbeit Marching on a Butterbur Leaf für EUR 2.394,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nara Yoshitomo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Knife Behind Back im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 195.969.000,00 (€ 22.398.966,83).
