In June 2021 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction No Regrets: Modern and Contemporary Art Online, which included this untitled work by Nara Yoshitomo. The result of HKD 6,000.00 (€ 651.76) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nara Yoshitomo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Knife Behind Back in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 195,969,000.00 (€ 22,398,966.83).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2021 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion No Regrets: Modern and Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nara Yoshitomo zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 6.000,00 (€ 651,76) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nara Yoshitomo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Knife Behind Back im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 195.969.000,00 (€ 22.398.966,83).
