In April 2008 Christies in Tel Aviv held the auction 19th & 20th Century Art at the Hilton Hotel, which included the work Joy And Happiness by Yohanan Simon. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,875.00 (€ 7,627.83), 32% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yohanan Simon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work At The Kibbutz in December 2012 with an auction result of USD 128,500.00 (€ 97,451.84).

Im April 2008 führte Christies in Tel Aviv die Auktion 19th & 20th Century Art at the Hilton Hotel durch, in der auch die Arbeit Joy And Happiness von Yohanan Simon zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 7.627,83) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yohanan Simon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit At The Kibbutz im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 128.500,00 (€ 97.451,84).
