Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work Le Soupirant by Yohanan Simon. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,896.65), 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yohanan Simon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work At The Kibbutz in December 2012 with an auction result of USD 128,500.00 (€ 97,451.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Soupirant von Yohanan Simon zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.896,65) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yohanan Simon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit At The Kibbutz im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 128.500,00 (€ 97.451,84).
