Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Yohanan Simon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2013. In the Interiors auction, the work The Chaste Bather sold for USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,117.30) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yohanan Simon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work At The Kibbutz in December 2012 with an auction result of USD 128,500.00 (€ 97,451.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yohanan Simon erzielte im Juli 2013 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Interiors wurde die Arbeit The Chaste Bather für USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.117,30) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yohanan Simon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit At The Kibbutz im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 128.500,00 (€ 97.451,84).
