Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shechicha #10 by Yehudit Sasportas was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,548.52) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yehudit Sasportas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Last Name - Diptych, which sold at auction in December 2013 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 49,894.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Shechicha #10 von Yehudit Sasportas kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.548,52) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yehudit Sasportas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Last Name - Diptych beobachtet, die im Dezember 2013 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 49.894,77) versteigert wurde.
