Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Exploding Tree (From By The River) by Yehudit Sasportas was sold in the Israeli & International Art auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2018. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,237.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yehudit Sasportas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Last Name - Diptych in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 49,894.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Exploding Tree (From By The River) von Yehudit Sasportas wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion Israeli & International Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.237,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yehudit Sasportas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Last Name - Diptych im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 49.894,77).
