It achieved a price of USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,553.68), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yehudit Sasportas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Last Name - Diptych, which sold at auction in December 2013 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 49,894.77).

Die Arbeit Light Earth, Black Hole von Yehudit Sasportas kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.553,68) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Für andere Arbeiten von Yehudit Sasportas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Last Name - Diptych beobachtet, die im Dezember 2013 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 49.894,77) versteigert wurde.
